Forming a Company

 

Don’t invest without forming a company first!  This is a very important aspect to starting your path to investing in real estate.  Forming a real estate investment company will protect you and your assets.  Forming the right kind of company (like a limited liability company) will limit your liability and exposure.  Study the different types of companies. 

 

Now days starting a company is VERY simple.  There are companies that charge a small fee for doing all the filing, paperwork, and setup for you.  They will teach you all about your company.  This is much cheaper than hiring a lawyer.  Think about starting a company website, too.  This lends credibility, gives others a way to learn about your company, and gives you a website to list on your business cards!
